Multiple Financed Properties

In many situations a home buyer cannot get a new home loan if he or she already has 4 properties with home loans. There is a similar standard for refinancing, allowing a maximum of four financed residential properties unless you are refinancing your primary residence. If you have 5 or 6 financed homes, you can refinance some or all as long as your end result is four or fewer loans. With rates below 5% for investment properties, this is a winning strategy to maximize cash flow for investors.
